Choose your own adventure
At MBTB Tasting Room, we offer two ways to taste. Our Full Flights come with five 2 oz. samples, plus Flight Bites (small plates of cheese and chocolate). Our Mini Flights come with three 2 oz. samples; you can add Flight Bites for a nominal charge. You can create your own flights or, if you're feeling adventurous, "fly blind" and let us pick for you. With this format, we hope you'll be able to take your time, relax and enjoy the experience as you progress through the tasting. Because we want to ensure you're tasting the grapes, not the glass, we serve all of our flights in full-size, high-quality Riedel stemware.

At Leelanau Cheese on the Leelanau Peninsula, cheesemakers/proprietors John and Anne Hoyt and their staff produce award-winning, traditional European-style cheeses from pure, fresh, local cow's milk, using no added colors or preservatives. Their Raclette is crafted from secret recipes John learned while studying under masters in the mountains of Switzerland. For more information, visit LeelanauCheese.com.
About the chocolate…
Mindo Chocolate Makers in Dexter produces artisan bean-to-bar chocolate from 100% organic, single-origin Ecuadorian Cacao. Mindo relies on only the very best quality heirloom variety cocoa pods: the Nacional. Among only a handful of artisans worldwide making bean-to-bar chocolate, Mindo hand selects cocoa pods directly from cocoa tree farms in Ecuador; ferments and roasts the cocoa beans; and separates the shell and nibs. The nibs are then shipped to Dexter, where they're ground, pressed and mixed into products. For more information on Mindo Chocolate Makers, visit MindoChocolate.com.
Detroit Chocolat in Sterling Heights was founded by Casey Petz, the great-grandson of Ervin and Julia Morley. Dating back to 1919, the Morley and Petz families have had a passion for chocolates and confections. Detroit Chocolat is proud to serve and manufacture some of the world's finest chocolate products, backed by four generations of chocolate know-how and expertise. The company's philosophy includes the belief that the city of Detroit is more than just boundaries on a map; it's about great traditions, cultures, products, and, most importantly, the people who call metro Detroit home.
